Personal data processed, legal basis, and purpose of processing
You’re giving us permission to send you commercial communications. For the purpose of sending commercial communications, we’ll process the personal data you’ve provided to us when you gave your consent, including any updates you make later. This consent is the legal basis for processing your personal data. As the controller, we’ll archive your consent for as long as we’re processing your personal data for sending commercial communications, plus an additional three years after we stop, so we can demonstrate the processing was lawful. The legal ground for this archiving is our company’s legitimate interest.
You can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for sending commercial communications anytime, using the method in each commercial communication, or by sending a request to the email address in the header above.
Giving consent is not required. If you don’t give it, we just won’t be able to send you commercial communications.
Recipients of personal data and place of processing
Access to your personal data is limited to our employees and, where needed, external processors we’ve hired for specific tasks related to the processing purpose.
We won’t share your personal data with any third parties. Your personal data will be stored in electronic form on servers located only in Member States of the European Union. We’ll also keep the original of this written consent, to the appropriate extent, in paper form at our registered office or at a storage facility we use.
Your rights regarding personal data processing
You can request access to your data anytime. That means we’ll tell you what personal data of yours we process, why, where we got it, and how long we’ll keep processing it.
You can request that we fix inaccurate personal data or complete it if it’s incomplete. You also can request that we delete personal data we no longer need for the purpose we originally collected it for, or that we’re no longer allowed to use for other reasons (like if we processed it unlawfully, or the law requires us to delete it, etc.).
You also can object anytime to us processing your data for direct marketing purposes (sending commercial communications). If you do, we won’t use your personal data for that purpose anymore. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest. In that case, we’ll only keep processing your data if we can show there are compelling legitimate reasons to do so.
You can request that we restrict how we process your personal data. That means you can ask us not to delete data we’d otherwise have to erase, and you can also ask us to stop processing your personal data further until we verify whether the data we’re processing is accurate, or whether your objection to processing was valid.
How you can exercise your rights
You can exercise your rights (including the right to object) with us as the personal data Controller. You can contact us in writing, by telephone, or by email (contact details are above).
If you think the processing of your personal data has violated the law or the European General Data Protection Regulation, you can file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk.
